This study reviews the componential analysis of pellet which uses by-products of Livestock
manure and agriculture and the features of the combustion. The moisture, ash and low heating
value of experimetal sample were 9.03%, 18.4% and 3,267 kcal/kg, respectively. In case of pellet
fuel mixing sawdust, the amount of ash decreased, and low heating value increased. In case of
ash, it contains a large amount of K, P and Ca, etc. so it is expected to be used for soil conditioner.
Also as a result of the combustion test in the burnup device in the form of a crucible furnace, in case
appropriate amount of air is injected, an active combustion has been realized but in case of continued
combustion, ash is molten, resulting in clinker and small amount of SOx and NOx. As for bio-soild
fuel which uses animal manure and agricultural by-products, if heating value is increased by mixing
and molding of high heating materials such as sawdust and rice hulls and if Non-clicker type burnup
device is used to prevent the formation of clinker, its applicabilities as fuel are estimated to be very wide.
