본 연구는 장애자녀 부모가 인지하는 가족건강성에 대한 영향요인을 원가족요 인과 양육환경요인의 두 개 차원으로 분석하여 장애자녀가족의 가족건강성을 높 이기 위한 구체적 개입방안의 기초자료를 제시하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 전국 16개 시·도지회의 62개 장애인부모회 회원 대상의 설문조사를 통해 수거한 총 426부의 설문자료에 대한 위계적 다중회귀분석과 구조방정식분석을 실시하였 다. 주요 결과를 보면 첫째, 가족건강성에 가장 큰 긍정적인 영향력을 보인 변인 은 결혼만족도로 분석되었으며, 부모·자녀 간의 원활한 의사소통과 낮은 양육스 트레스 역시 가족건강성에 정적(+)인 영향력을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 또 부모 의 자아존중감과 세대 간 전이된 원가족건강성 변인들도 가족건강성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 가족건강성에 영향을 미치는 경로는 ‘원 가족건강성→자아존중감→양육스트레스→부모·자녀 간의 의사소통→가족건강성’ 으로 분석되었다. 양육환경요인 역시 전이된 원가족의요인과 함께 다차원적 경로 를 통해 가족건강성에 영향력을 갖는 것으로 분석되었다. 연구 결과를 중심으로 장애인가족의 가족건강성의 향상과 세대 간 전이되는 부정적 요인의 예방을 위 한 개입 방안을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors affecting family strengths in families with disabled children. The factors were categorized in two dimensions, family of origin and parenting environment factors. Parents of disabled children were sampled to conduct a survey. A total of 426 returned survey was utilized for data analysis. The main results of this study are as follows: First, marital satisfaction had the most significantly positive effect on family strengths, followed by parent-child communication and parenting stress. As for the factors of family of origin, self-esteem and strengths for family of origin were transferred between generations and had positive effects. Second, as for the channels of the effects of the main variables for the parents of disabled children on family strengths, the structure of the typical channel was ‘strengths for family of origin → self-esteem → parenting stress → parent-child communication → family strengths.' On the basis of these results, the practical implications for improving family strengths in families with disabled children were suggested.
