The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between brain dominance thinking types and creativity of early childhood teachers. The subjects of this study were 250 current early childhood teachers. Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument and Torrance(1988)'s TTCT were tested to all subjects. Pearson product-moment correlation were computed to find out the relation between brain dominance thinking types and creativity, and used multi-variate analysis to find out the difference in creativity according to brain dominance thinking types. The results of the study are as follow. First, the left hemisphere negatively correlated with fluency, originality, elaboration, openness and total creativity. The left limbic correlated negatively with openness only. The right hemisphere had positive correlation with fluency, originality, and total creativity. The right limbic system correlated positively with fluency, originality, elaboration, openness, and creativity. Second, the results showed that the creativity of the left limbic, right cerebral, and right limbic hemispheres was higher than that of the left cerebral hemisphere, and the left limbic, right cerebral, and right limbic hemisphere also had higher scores in respect of fluency and elaboration. The right limbic hemisphere had a higher score than the left limbic and right cerebral hemispheres in originality. The left limbic and right cerebral hemisphere showed higher openness than that of the left cerebral hemisphere. The elaboration of the right limbic hemisphere was higher than that of the others. Abstractness in the title had no meaningful difference among the types of brain dominance thinking.
