The purpose of the study is to conduct the need analysis for establishing ‘Ddadeutan’ educational
community of secondary school. For this, data were gathered from total 1271 of students and teachers by
asking the degree of current and desirable status of ‘Ddadeutan’ educational community. In the first place,
the gap of two statuses was statistically proven by t-test. Second, the order of priority was derived
according to ‘Borich model’. Third, the result of need analysis based on The Locus for Focus model was
presented in the form of coordinate plane. Using all of these results, top priority and the second priority
were determined. The results show that both commons and differences in each group’s need were found.
The common thing is that all of the groups recognize ‘equal opportunity’ as the most necessary element
to be ‘Ddadeutan’ educational community. The middle school students recognize that human relationship
such as ‘emotional bonds’ and worm relationships’ is an important element to be ‘Ddadeutan’ educational
community compared to high school students. In the case of high school students, they recognize
‘psychological stability’ as an important element to be ‘Ddadeutan’ educational community. The students
recognize ‘democratic participation structure’ as an important element to be ‘Ddadeutan’ educational
community compared to the teachers.
