본 연구의 목적은 과학관의 전시물 중에서 에너지와 관련된 전시물이 어떤 특징이 있는지에 대하여 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 홍콩에 있는 홍콩과학관의 전시물을 사례로 분석하였다. 홍콩과학관에는 에너 지와 관련된 전시물을 많이 발견할 수 있었다. 가장 대표적인 전시물로는 에너지 머신(Energy Machine)으로 에너지 전환을 보여주는 세계에서 가장 큰 전시물이다. 홍콩과학관의 에너지 전시물이 가진 특징으로는 첫째, 효율적인 에너지의 활용과 관련된 전시물이 많이 있었다는 것이고, 둘째, 에너지와 관련된 정보를 제공하는 다양한 방법을 사용하고 있었다는 점이다. 추가적으로 홍콩과학관의 에너지 관련 전시물에 대한 소개와 관련 된 시사점을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of exhibits related to energy. We specifically analyzed the exhibits of the ‘Hong Kong Science Museum’. In the Hong Kong Science Museum, we found various exhibits related to energy. The representative exhibit is ‘Energy Machine’. It is the biggest exhibits that show energy conversion. We found some specific characteristics of energy exhibits of Hong Kong Science Museum like these; First, there are so many energy exhibits related to efficient energy use. Second, many exhibits have various methods that provide informations related to energy. Additionally, we suggested some implications about the energy exhibits of science museum.
