이 연구의 목적은 심미적 경험을 강조한 기후변화교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 비판적 사고 성향과 환경 태도에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 심미적 경험을 강조한 기후변화교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 초등학교 3학년을 대상으로 적용하여 그 효과를 검증하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 심미적 경 험을 강조한 기후변화교육 프로그램은 초등학생의 비판적 사고 성향에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 심미적 경험을 강조한 기후변화교육 프로그램은 초등학생의 환경 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 수업에 참여 한 초등학생들은 심미적 경험을 강조한 기후변화수업 자료에 대해 긍정적인 인식을 하고 있었으며, 수업에 대한 관심과 흥미를 유발하여 기후변화에 대한 이해를 도왔다고 생각하고 있었다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of climate change education program strengthening aesthetic experience on critical thinking disposition and environmental attitude in elementary school students. We developed climate change education program strengthening aesthetic experience and applied to 3rd grade elementary students. The results were as follows. First, climate change education program strengthening aesthetic experience gave a significant influence on increasing critical thinking disposition. Second, climate change education program strengthening aesthetic experience gave a significant influence on increasing environmental attitude. Third, students participated in the class showed positive response about climate change education program strengthening aesthetic experience.
