This study aims to review the discussion process of researches about the curriculum
examples of teaching ・ learning and evaluation methods distinguishingly suggested in the
2015 Revised Elementary Moral Education Curriculum, and also to suggest a method of
applying them into the lesson of ethics subject. There are examples of teaching ・ learning
and evaluation methods suggested in the 2015 Revised Elementary Moral Education
Curriculum which were not included in the previous curriculum. This is understandable as
a measure to more clearly deliver the characteristics of curriculum to the ethics subject
education in the field and it is good news in the aspect to reduce the gap between
curriculum and the ethics education in the field. However, the examples of teaching ・
learning and evaluation methods suggested in the curriculum are very implicative and
impractical to immediately apply in the field. Moreover, the development period was not
enough for researchers of the curriculum to sufficiently share the discussion process which
now causes some misunderstandings. In this situation, this study would interpret the
teaching ・ learning and evaluation methods at the applicable level in the field as well as
with the significance of introducing the discussion process among researchers of curriculum
until now. Furthermore, the discussion process of selecting the teaching ・ learning and
evaluation methods in Area 1 and the process of deliberation for applying them might work
as an example for field application of other areas and for the accomplishment criteria.
