본 논문에서는 두 변수 간의 인과관계를 명확히 이해하기 위해 그 관계 이면의 메카니즘으 로 작용하는 매개와 조절의 의미를 살펴보고, 범용 통계분석 소프트웨어인 SPSS를 이용하여 분 석하는 방법을 탐구하여 제시하였다. 그리고 매개의 경우 이를 인과모형 전문 소프트웨어인 Amos 분석의 결과와 비교하여 일반 연구자들에게 이 분야의 연구에 도움이 될 수 있는 방법론 을 제시하였다.
In this paper, the meanings of mediation and moderation which acts as the mechanism behind the causal relationship between variables are reviewed for clear understanding and the methodological issues on analyzing by SPSS are addressed. And in the case of moderation, the results of SPSS and Amos are compared to be helpful to the research in this field.
