To examine whether the Aulim school violence prevention program(the Aulim program) has
been effectively accommodated in school settings, this study investigated effects of the Aulim
program. Thus, this study tested pre-post psychosocial abilities(empathy, communication, emotional
regulation et al.), school violence prevention abilities(allowance of school violence), and changes of
school adjustment in the Aulim(treatment) groups and the non-Aulim(non-treatment) groups. Also,
this study examined the effects of different operating systems(operating types, operating entities)
regarding the levels of schools(primary, middle, and high schools) among the Aulims. Results
showed that the Aulim revealed better scores in communication, conflict resolution, self-esteem,
active actions to prevent school violences, and school adjustment than the non-Aulim groups did.
Furthermore, better results were shown when the Aulim was conducted regularly and a
teacher’s team took charge of the program than when Aulim was conducted intensively in a short
period of time and an Aulim counselor only managed it. However, these results were revealed
differently among the levels of schools. Finally, based on the results of this study, we suggested
the effective operating systems and implications to administer this program across schools.
