Objective : This study is to find out the effect of Occupational Therapy on the affected learning ability
development of the children of multicultural families with specific problems.
Method : 4 specific children of multicultural families in Cheongyang-gun were studied from February
2010 to October 2010. This study's analysis program was generated by Visual Graph.
Research : The effect of Occupational Therepy showed that out of the 4 children, the total average was
improved in cognitive ability at 4.75, social/emotion ability at 4.25, gross motor ability at
3.75, and fine motor ability at 4.5 out of the learning ability development checklist.
Conclusion : On the basis of the above findings, we may summarize as follows. First, a specific child of
multicultural families improved on cognitive ability, social/emotion ability, gross motor ability
and fine motor ability of their learning ability development by Occupational therapy service.
Second, a specific child of multicultural families especially needs occupational therapy for
their learning ability development.
