Recently, the educational world has taken an interest in increasing learners’ creativity. Many consider creativity to be the most important human ability required by future society, prompting many countries to focus their schooling on the development of creative persons. Learner creativity is also emphasized in educational curricula in order to achieve this goal. In other words, through an in-depth diagnosis of educational problems – which stemmed from the increased interest in creativity in education on a national level – researchers persistently claim that educational activities for increasing creativity need to be emphasized in order to improve the quality of education in schools (Kim et al., 2005). Creativity is continuously becoming the subject of great interest as numerous studies on creativity or creative thinking have been conducted, interest in creativity programs have heightened, and creativity has been acknowledged as the ultimate educational goal and a compulsory ability for the 21st century.
