본 논문의 목적은 청소년의 삶이 ‘학교 안’과 ‘학교 밖’으로 구분될 수 없음에 착안하여, 청소년들의 ‘학 교 안’과 ‘학교 밖’의 공간과 활동을 체계적으로 연계해 줄 수 있는 청소년교육 전문 인력의 양성을 위 한 교육요구도를 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 청소년교육 전문 인력에게 요구되는 역량을 도출하고, 이를 활용하여 역량 진단을 실시하여 교육요구도를 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 실제 현장에서 활 동 중인 전문 인력의 교육요구도와 대학에 재학 중인 예비 청소년교육 전문 인력의 교육요구도 간의 차이를 분석하여 청소년교육 전문 인력 양성을 위한 대학의 교육과정에 대한 시사점을 제안하고자 하 였다. 문헌분석, 전문가협의회, 전문가 검토를 거쳐 개발된 예비 청소년교육 전문 인력의 역량으로는 청 소년 이해, 시민성, 예술적 상상력, 교육과정 개발, 평가, 행정지원, 교수-학습 혁신, 돌봄 및 상담의 8개 역량 60개 지표가 포함되었다. 이렇게 도출된 역량을 바탕으로 교육요구도를 분석하기 위해 각 역량별 대응표본 t-검정 분석 및 Borich 공식을 활용한 교육요구도 우선 순위를 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 청소 년들의 ‘학교 안’과 ‘학교 밖’의 심리적․물리적 공간을 연계할 수 있는 청소년교육 전문 인력에게 요구 되는 역량을 제시하고, 교육요구도를 다양한 관점에서 분석함으로써 향후 예비 청소년교육 전문 인력 양성을 위한 교육적 처방을 설계할 때 필요한 구체적인 시사점을 제안하는 의미를 갖고 있다.
The importance of developing youth education experts, who professionally understand the life of Inside-school and out-of-school students and youths and systematically link between inside and out-of-school in terms of spaces and activities, has been emphasized. The purpose of the study is developing competency model for pre-service youth education experts, and conducting educational needs assessment of pre-service and in-service youth education experts in order to provide practical suggestions for developing competencies of youth education experts. The competency model, developed by literature review and experts review, includes 8 competencies and 60 behavioral indicators. Based on the competency model and behavioral indicators, educational needs of pre-service and in-service youth education experts has been analyzed using t-test and Borich formula. The results of this study provides practical implications for the design of educational program for youth education experts who can serve inside-school and out-of-school youths.
