The present paper focused on the body flexibility and the deep & even breathing for a solution of the
obstacles to the deep meditation states (i.e., pain, interrupting thoughts). In order to enhance the body
flexibility & balance as well as the deep & even breathing, Korean traditional mind-body discipline so
called Kuksundo’s principles were abstracted and applied to build the smooth stretching & the deep &
even dan-jeon breathing meditation program protocols. Then the deep & even breathing combined with
the stretching meditation program was administered to the university students attending classes, and their
responses on the subjective experiences questionnaire were content analyzed. The results suggested that this
detailed protocolized program give the effects of relaxation and emotional stability in them.
