The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of activity-oriented conflict resolution program based
on restorative education on the sense of community of elementary-school students. An object of study was
the 24 students of a fourth grade class in an elementary school in Gyeonggi province. This intervention
program was developed with the concept of restorative education for learning of useful conflict resolution
way increasing of community engagement within the class. The program took effect to the students 8
times for four weeks with dependent variables. The recovery resilience and the sense of the responsibility
and the bystander's attitude with dependent variables checked the program's effect to compare the score
of pretest-posttest. The activity-oriented conflict resolution program for learning that the conflict cased a
school violence resolve ways peacefully, through appeared significant difference statistician about the
student's recovery resilience and the sense of the responsibility from the score at pretest-posttest. On the
other hand, there was no significant difference between pretest-posttest with the bystander's attitude. The
activity-oriented conflict applied this sturdy reflected high grade of element feature, could be effective for
improving the self-sense of responsibility and cause analysis and emotional regulation through the various
activities on students' hands. Ultimately, there are significance of this study that applied preventive
approach about the school violence based on concept of restorative education.
