This research examines the trends of researches on the Dreamstart project and attempts to provide
implications for researches on child welfare work for the happy life of children. To do this, the
current conditions of publications, research types and research methods, research objects and themes,
graduate theses and articles in academic journals in relation to the Dreamstart project were analyzed.
The results of the analysis showed that the number of articles in academic journals, which accounted
for 60.5% of the total, was greater than that of graduate theses, and most of them were survey
researches, regression analysis and descriptive analyses. The highest number of researches were on
operating field experts and the highest number of researches were related to the effectiveness of the
project, the current conditions of related policies and development plans. Based on the results of this
research, diverse and continuous researches related to this project should be explored so that efficient
operation can be achieved for the satisfaction of users and for the operating body of this project.
