이 연구는 초등학교 운동선수의 시합인지평가, 부모 지지, 정신력과 시합만족 간 인과관계 분석과 부모지지, 정신력이 이들 변인을 매개하는지를 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 2015년 소년체전에 참가한 초등학교 운동선수 335명(남: 207, 여: 128)을 대상으로 시합인지평가, 부모지지, 정신력과 시합만족척도를 사용하여 도전과 위협의 인지평가를 외생변인으로 하고, 부모지지, 정신력과 시합만족을 내생변인으로 한 이론모델을 구성하고 이의 검증을 통해 연구문제를 해결하고자 하였으며 자료를 분석한 결과 얻은 결론을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 변인 간 간계를 분석한 결과 위협평가와 자율지지 간, 위협평가와 승부욕 간, 위협평가와 시합만족 간을 제외한 도전, 위협평가, 부모지지, 정신력, 시합만족 간 유의한(p<.01) 상관이 있은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이론모델의 적합도를 분석한 결과 모델의 전반적 지수가 양호한 것으로(Q=1.277, GFI = .946, TLI = .976, CFI = .984, RMSEA =.040) 나타나 이론모델로 사용될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 구조관계에서 세부적 경로 중 도전 → 부모지지, 도전 → 정신력, 부모지지 → 정신력, 부모지지 → 시합만족, 정신력 → 시합만족의 경로가 유의한 것으로 나타나 이들 변인 간 인과관계가 있었다. 넷째, 부모지지와 정신력의 매개효과를 분석한 결과 부모지지와 정신력은 모두 도전평가와 시합만족을 매개하는 것으로 나타났고, 모두 긍정의(+) 방향을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 초등학교 운동선수의 경우 시합을 도전할만한 것으로 평가할 때, 부모의 지지를 많이 받을수록, 정신력이 높을수록 시합만족이 높다는 것을 의미하고, 도전평가와 더불어 부모지지와 정신력은 시합만족을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다.즉, 부모지지와 정신력의 하위요인인 투지와 승부욕이 높을수록 시합만족도는 높다는 것을 의미 한다. 따라서 초등학교 운동선수의 경우 부모지지와 정신력의 향상은 곧 시합만족과 직결되는 부분이다.
The Purpose of this study is to define mediator effect of parental support and mental toughness in structural relationship among cognition of competence, parental support, mental toughness, and satisfaction of elementary school players This study set up a structural relationship model which is composed of exogeneous variables as cognition of competence which is composed by challenge and threat about competence and endogenous variables as parental support which is composed by control and autonomy, mental toughness and satisfaction of competence. The participants are 335 elementary players(boys: 207, girls: 128) who participated 2015 youth sport festival Korea. This study used the cognition of competition, parental support, mental toughness, and satisfaction of competition scale. By the using correlation, there are significant relation between challenge and control support, autonomical support, mental toughness, and satisfaction, threat and control support and fighting, parental support and mental toughness, and satisfaction, mental toughness and satisfaction. In analysis structure equation, this model can be used as theoretical model because general index are proved(Q=1.277, GFI = .946, TLI = .976, CFI = .984, RMSEA =.040). In analysis details index, there are significant pathe of challenge ⟶ parental support, challenge → mental toughness, parental support ⟶ mental toughness, parental support → satisfaction and mental toughness → satisfaction. Parental support and mental support have mediator effects between appraisal of competition and satisfaction of competition and the effects have positive(+) direction. In this study define there are causal relationship among appraisal of competition, parental support, mental toughness, and satisfaction of elementary school players, and parental support and mental toughness have mediator effect between appraisal and satisfaction.
