This study has an objective to understand adaptability experiences phenomenon of Korean family and discover the essence of experiences by deeply studying Korean family adaptability experiences of marriage migrant women from their viewpoints. In-depth interviews were conducted targeting total of 20 marriage migrant women of each 5 women from China, Vietnam, Philippines and Japan respectively who have long than 3 years cohabitation experiencesand the data were analyzed using Colaizzi’s phenomenological research method which is one of qualitative research methods. 6 fundamental subjects of marriage migrant women about Korean family adaptability experiences were identified as ‘endlessly agonizing and grateful parent’s home’, ‘life like dandelion spore’, ‘unfamiliar life in new environments’, ‘family which plays a role of windbreak’ and “hugging as a family’. This study has a meaning as the basic data to improve Korean family adaptability and life quality of marriage migrant women.
