본 연구에서는 스마트폰과 클라우드 시스템을 활용하여 보다 간편한 모바일 기반 교실응답시스템 (MCRS)으로 개발하고 이에 대한 학습자의 인식과 학습자의 특징이 인식에 미치는 영향을 분석하였 다. 이를 위해 수도권 소재 대학 수업에 MCRS를 활용하고 학생들을 대상으로 MCRS 활용 수업의 만 족도와 참여도에 대한 인식, 학생들의 성격5요인(Big Five) 등 개인특성이 이러한 인식에 미치는 영향 을 조사하였다. 연구결과 학생들은 MCRS 활용에 대해 전반적으로 긍정적으로 인식하였으며 특히 사 용하기 편리하다고 응답하였다. 또한 성별, 학년 특성에 따른 인식 차이는 나타나지 않았지만, 학생들 의 성격 5요인 중 외향성이 수업 참여도에 대한 인식과 정적인 상관관계(r=.344)를 보여주었다. 본 연 구를 통해 MCRS가 기존 CRS의 장점을 유지하면서도 CRS가 가진 문제점을 극복할 수 있는 훌륭한 대안이 될 수 있다는 가능성을 확인할 수 있었으며, 이를 바탕으로 국내 대학교육에 MCRS 활용의 활성화를 위한 연구와 실천 방안을 제안하였다.
This research focuses on developing MCRS(Mobile Classroom Response System) using smartphone and Cloud system, and we analyzed the learner’s recognition on it and how personal traits affects learner's class satisfaction. After the study, learners overall gave positive feedback on MCRS and replied that it was easy to use. Furthermore, though there was no significant difference by gender and grade, extraversion factor of the Big Five personality trait showed positive correlation (r=.344) with the recognition on class participation. Through this research, we saw that MCRS can be a good substitute to the existing CRS and we suggested that in order to achieve the original purpose of CRS, MCRS must find a suitable method according to different learners' features
