이 논문은 한국의 전통음악 중 사물놀이의 굿거리장단과 쿠바의 전통 음악 중 아프로큐반의 룸바 클라베를 융합할 수 있는 방법론을 개발하여 음악성, 예술성, 차별화된 독창성을 가진 대중음악의 리 듬콘텐츠를 도출한다. 한국의 대중음악 발전에 관한 연구와 보고서에 의하면 한류 음악의 성공은 마 케팅과 전문성을 가진 우수한 엔터테인먼트를 요인으로 뽑는다. 하지만 한류 음악을 콘텐츠의 관점으 로 바라 볼 때 많은 부분에서 획일적 모방이 중심이 되어왔으며 우리만의 색깔이나 차별성이 부족하 다는 것 또한 지적 하고 있다. 따라서 한류 음악이 지속적으로 발전하기 위해서는 모방하는 것이 아 닌 독창성과 다양성을 갖춘 음악 콘텐츠의 개발을 요하고 특히 한국의 전통음악과 서양의 대중음악 융합을 통한 새로운 대중문화 음악의 콘텐츠가 필요하다는 것을 역설하고 있다. 이 연구는 한국의 전 통음악과 서양의 전통음악 리듬을 융합할 수 있는 방법론을 제시하고 그 방법론을 통해 굿거리장단 과 룸바 클라베를 융합하여 새로운 리듬 콘텐츠를 도출해 낸다.
The purpose of this study was to develop a rhythm contents of popular music with musicality, artistic value, and distinguished originality by mixing the Samulnori, a Korean traditional music, and the Afro-Cuban rhythm, a Cuban traditional rhythm. The studies and reports on development of Korean popular music propose the entertainment with marketing and professional capabilities as a contributing factor to success of Korean music in the world. Many parts of Koran popular music in terms of contents, however, have focused on uniform imitation, and many critics emphasize that the continuous development of Korean music is ensured by not by imitation but by development of various music contents, especially mixing of Korean traditional music and popular music. This study proposes a methodology to mix Samulnori, a Korean traditional music, and the Afro-Cuban rhythm, a Cuban traditional rhythm and a root of Western popular music and derives a new rhythm contents.
