The purposes of this study were to identify factors influencing on college adjustment in nursing students.
Participants were 211 nurses students who E university in D city. Data were collected from April to May
of 2016 through a self-report structured questionnaire. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test,
ANOVA, Person's correlation coefficients, and Hierarchical multiple regression analysis using SPSS 23.0
program. Academic burnout(γ=-.24) had negative correlation with the college adjustment and active coping
(γ=.44) had positive correlation with the college adjustment in nursing students. Active coping(β=.38) and
academic burnout(β=-.09) gives an impact on the works of nursing students’ college adjustment, and its
power of explanation reveals as 38.3%. Based on this study, I would like to suggest to develop the college
adjustment program that focused on improving to use active coping and reduce academic burnout.
