This study was performed to identify the factors influencing on the change of health behavior for the
prevention of disease among healthcare workers. Data were surveyed using questionnaires and interview by
186 healthcare workers who have worked a general hospital located in Daejeon area from June 28 to
August 18, 2016. Data analyzed clinical practice for preventing diseases and self-assessment according to
clinical practice of disease prevention by t-test and ANOVA. The results were as follows. Firstly, there was significantly lower in respondents(1.82 points) who feel stress a little than respondents(2.73 points) who
have too much stress(F=4.25, p<.05). Secondly, in terms of correlation analysis of clinical practice for
disease prevention, it showed significantly positive correlation between self-assessment and environmental
support (r=0.116, p<.05). In conclusion, it needs the application and development of self-management
program to improve clinical practice for disease prevention among healthcare workers.
