This study attempts to find out how three-dimensional expression with clay is proceeding in art textbook by 2009 Revised National Curriculum. Due to the high accessibility, this material could be the index of systemicity in artistic expression activity. To achieve the goal of research, expression activity with clay in text book is analyzed, so that can support following other studies. According to analysis on elementary art text book, Firstly, importance of clay work in art textbook is low. Secondly, entire students following curriculum with same standard related term even their grade is different. Thirdly, inspection of suggesting clay work related tool plan is required. Lastly, making technique and material is varied by textbook. Students have difficulties with expressing in solid due to the low importance in curriculum so it is necessary to systematically organize and train the clay activities.
