This study explores the a structural analysis of creativity, self-leadership, and self-determination
affecting the life core competencies of adult learners. The partcipants of this study were 387 adult
learners over 20 years of age with lifelong learning experience in lifelong learning institutions,
Daejeon, Chungnam. In order to achieve the objective of this study, a structural analysis of was
applied. The results of the study are in the following sentences. First, the creativity a affects
on life core competencies of adult learners. Second, the creativity a affects on self-leadership,
self-determination of adult learners. Third, the self-leadership, self-determination a affects on life core
competencies of adult learners. Fourth, the confirmed that self-leadership, and self-determination have
meaningful mediation effect between the creativity and life core competencies. This means that
creativity, self-leadership, and self-determination must be preceded in order to improve the core
competencies of adult learners. The results of this study provide suggestions for enhancing the life
core competencies of adult learners, preparing measures for effective learner management and support
activities, enhancing the quality level and participation rate of lifelong education, and developing
lifelong education.
