본 연구는 성인 여성의 문제음주에 영향을 미치는 인구사회학적 요인을 밝히는 것에 목적을 두고 있다. 분석 자료는 2015년 한국복지패널 10차년도의 자료 중 20세 이상 성인 여성의 응답자 7496명이 응답한 구조화된 설문조사 자료이다. 선행연구 검토를 통해 독립변수로 연령, 교육수준, 종교유무, 주 관적 건강상태, 배우자유무, 우울수준, 가구경제수준 등의 인구사회학적 요인을, 종속변수로는 문제음 주 여부를 투입한 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조사대상자 중 성인 여성의 문제음주자는 3.8%로 나타났다. 둘째, 로지스틱 회귀분석 결과, 여성의 문제음주 여부에 영향을 미치는 인구사회학적 요인은 연령, 교육수준, 종교유무, 주관적 건강상태, 우울수준, 가구경제 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 문제음주자로 선별될 가능성이 높은 여성은 낮은 연령, 높은 교육수준, 종교, 높은 주관적 건강상태, 높은 우울수준, 낮은 가구경제수준을 가진 여성인 것으로 나타났다. 본 분석결과를 통하여 성인지적 관점의 문제음주 예방 정책과 지역사회 차원에서 고위험 인구사회학적 요인을 가진 성인 여성에 대한 조기 선별 및 예방과 개입의 사회복지실천을 위한 함의를 제시하였다.
The objective of this paper is to investigate the sociodemographic variables influencing problem drinking of adult women. The study data are used from a 2015 data of the Korea Welfare Panel Study. And the subjects were 7496 females aged 20 and older. The result were analysed by logistic regression whose dependent variable was problem drinking. The main study results were followed. First, 3.8% of subjects reported problem drinking. Second, statistically significant variables were age, education level, religion, subjective health status, depression level and household economic status. That is, adult women with low age, high education level, religion, high subjective health status, high depression level and low household economic status were more likely to be problem drinker. These findings suggest the need to develop the alcohol policy with gender sensitive perspective and social work practice for the prevention and intervention in community settings.
