오늘날 이론과 실제의 문제는 인문사회과학의 주요한 문제로 등장하였다. 이론과 실제의 문제는 이 론과 실제가 적절하게 기능하는 것을 저해하고 있다. 사실 이론과 실제의 문제는 오랜 기간 다양한 학자들이 논의를 한 주제이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 이론과 실제의 문제는 여전히 남아있으며 오히려 문제는 더욱 심화되고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 오늘날 심화된 이론과 실제의 문제를 해결할 수 있 는 접근법을 탐색하였다. 먼저 이론과 실제의 문제를 다룬 교육 분야의 대표적인 학자들인 Aristoteles, O’connor, Schwab, Hirst의 접근법을 살펴보았다. 이후 범위를 확장하여 이론과 실제의 문제에 대한 다양한 접근 방식을 살펴보았다. 이들 접근 방식에서 이론과 실제를 어떻게 정의하는지, 두 개념간의 문제를 어떻게 해결하는지, 이들 접근 방식은 어떤 특징과 장단점이 있는지 논리적, 작동적, 탐구적, 변증법적 접근 방식으로 나누어 분석하였다. 그리고 끝으로 네 가지 접근 방식 중에서 오늘날 이론과 실제의 문제를 해결할 가능성이 높은 접근법을 제안하기 위해 변증법적 접근 방식의 특징과 가능성을 탐색하였다.
Today, the problem of theory and practice has emerged as a major problem of humanities and social sciences. The problem of theory and practice hinders proper functioning of theory and practice. In fact, the problem of theory and practice is a subject that has been discussed by various scholars for a long time. Nevertheless, the problem of theory and practice still remains, and the problem is getting worse. In order to solve this problem, this research explores approaches that can solve the problem of theory and practice. First, we review the approaches of Aristoteles, O'connor, Schwab, and Hirst, the leading scholars in the field of education. I then extended the scope to analyze various approaches to the problem of theory and practice. Through analysis, I have divided into logistic, operational, inquiry, and dialectic approach to explore how these approaches define theory and practice, how to solve problems between the two concepts, what features are there, and what are the pros and cons. And finally, among the four approaches, I have explored the possibilities of the dialectic approach in order to propose an approach that is likely to solve the problem of theory and practice.
