베트남의 전통문화, 풍습 등을 살펴보면 생활양식, 의례 등에서 우리나라와 너무도 유사한 모습을 자주 목격할 수 있다. 본고는 이러한 유사성이 어디에서 시작된 것인가?, 어떠한 연관성도 가지고 있 지 않을 것만 같은 두 나라는 어떤 연고로 동일한 문화 코드를 공유하게 된 것일까? 라는 질문에서 출발하고 있다. 이에 대한 답을 찾기 위해 양국의 세시 구조를 분석해 보고자 한다. 세시란 농경의례 를 모태로 하여 발전한 문화현상의 한 갈래로 해마다 일정한 시기가 오면 관습적으로 되풀이하여 행 하는 특수한 생활행위, 즉 주기전승(週期傳乘)의 의례(儀禮)적인 행위를 가리킨다. 세시는 한 민족의 민족문화가 고스란히 녹아 있는 기층문화이다. 때문에 세시를 분석하면 한 나라 민중의 생활양식이나 자연관, 신앙관, 우주관을 파악해 볼 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서 1기작과 2기작 문화 속에서 생활해온 한국과 베트남 세시의 총체적 구조에 대한 체계적인 분석을 통해 양국 문화를 보다 깊이 이해 할 수 있는 계기가 될 수 있기를 희망한다.
If you look at the traditional culture and customs of Vietnam, you can realize similarities with our country in lifestyle and rituals. This paper is based on the question, where does this similarity come from?, and why did the two countries, which would not have any connections, share the same cultural code? In order to find the answer, we would like to analyze the structure of Annual cyclical rituals in the two countries. Annual cyclic rituals is a cultural phenomenon developed based on the ritual of farming, and it refers to a special act of life, ceremonial act that is customarily repeated every year at a certain time. Annual cyclic rituals is a basic culture in which the ethnic culture of a nation is fully integrated. Therefore, if you analyze Annual cyclic rituals, you can see the life style, the natural view, the faith view, and the cosmos view of the people of one country. In this paper, we will systematically compare and analyze the overall structure of Korea and Vietnam, which have lived in double cropped culture. Based on this, I would like to provide a basis for a deeper understanding of both countries and their peoples.
