본 논문은 영화의 등장인물에게 나타나는 이미지의 구성 요소가 음악의 요소로도 연관되어 표현된 상관관계를 연구하였다. 또한 이들 등장인물의 역할은 함구증 증세를 보이는 주인공을 중심으로, 주 인공의 언어상실 증세와 언어상실의 원인 그리고 이를 회복하기 위한 과정이 나타난다. 이때 주인공 주변인물의 역할은 크게 두 가지로 나뉘는데 첫째, 언어 상실의 원인이 된 억압자 둘째, 이를 회복하 기 위한 치유자로 볼 수 있으며 이들을 정신분석학 관점으로 분석한다. 분석한 결과 이드(Id), 자아 (Ego), 초자아(Super-ego) 그리고 이드와 자아를 연결시키는 중계자의 역할로 나뉘며, 이것은 음악과 상관관계가 있어 각각의 캐릭터를 상징하는 라이트모티브(Leitmotif)로 나타난다. 인물의 성격과 분위 기를 나타내는 이미지는 빛과 어둠 등과 같이 대조되는 요소를 사용하여 의미를 창출하고, 음악에서 는 이미지와 심리상태에 따라 박자, 음표, 리듬 패턴, 조성으로 표현되고 있다. 이것은 영화가 시각적 효과와 청각적 효과가 상호작용할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.
This paper, we investigated the relationship between the elements of images that appeared in characters in the film and the music connection. The role of the character is classified on the main character showing the symptoms of the mutism; language loss, the cause of language loss, and the process of recovery appear. We analyze them from a psychoanalytical point of view. As a result of analysis, the roles are composed into Id, Ego, Super-ego and Id to connect the self to the intermediary. These are leitmotif that symbolizes the character in relation to music, and music also symbolizes it. Images representing the personality and atmosphere of a person are created using contrasting elements such as light, darkness, and so on, and in music, they are expressed in beat, notes, rhythm patterns, and composition according to their image and psychological state. This shows that visual and auditory effects coincide and interact with each other.
