ITI dental implant system은 1984년 처음으로 임상 적으로 시험되어졌고, 지속적으로 보완 수정되어, 현재의 원통나사형의 구조를 갖게 되었고, one stage 형의 임프란트 (직경 3.3, 4.1, 4.8 & shoulder 4.8, 직경 4.8, shoulder 6.5 등…) 로 확립이 되었다. 그러나 narrow neck implant( 직경 3.3, shoulder 3.5 )인 external screw type 도 있다.
There are many different foreign(ITI,3i,braenemark...) and domestic (implantium, ostem, megazen...) dental implant systems. Dentists are accustomed to use several dental implant systems. Sometimes they use two or more implant systems in a patient. There are many reasons to do that. Because of the money, time saving, bone factor, underlying soft tissue, anatomical landmark and surgical difficulties, ...etc. The author report the good results of ITI and implantium dental implant system in a patient and have good prognoses including favorable prosthodontic results.
