The purpose of this study is to explore the perception of the 4th Industrial Revolution of university
students and to suggest the direction of future education. First of all, 201 university students were asked
about the general perception of the 4th Industrial Revolution and the required ability through the open
questionnaire. As a result, university students had a somewhat lower level of awareness of the 4th
Industrial Revolution. And they responded that they needed creativity, empathy and skills related to
science to prepare for the 4th Industrial Revolution. Based on the results of the first research, the present
state of university education to prepare for the 4th Industrial Revolution and the recognition of creativity
education were confirmed. In addition, We asked students what teaching methods and evaluation methods
needed to improve their creativity. As a result, the students reported that the class for the creativity
improvement in the college is not well done. Therefore, in order to development future talents in
university education, it is necessary to provide diverse educational support for understanding of future
society and improving creativity.
