This study was designed to examine the effect of Job Satisfaction on Teachers and educational public service
employees emotional labor and burn out. The data in this study were collected from 398 Teachers and
educational public service employees who work in high school, middle school, elementary school, city office of
education, which located in Busan by Burnout Scale, Emotional labor Scale, and Job Satisfaction. Correlation
analysis and multiple regression analysis were applied to data processing. The results of this study were as
follows. First, in the difference of emotional labor, burn out and work satisfaction, it appears that teachers feel
more emotional labor compared to educational public service employee. Second, in a correlation between
emotional labor, burnout and work satisfaction, it appeared that there was a strong passive correlation between
the two groups. Third, in the effect of emotional labor, burn out and work satisfaction have on teachers and
educational public service employee, there was a significant correlation between motivation factor and emotional
labor, and there was no correlation of work satisfaction within the motivation factor of frequent sentiment
expression, suggestion level, sentimental disharmony. Fourth, when burn out change was regulated, since there was
a reduction in the emotional labor effect magnitude, this can be interpreted as burn out mediates the effect of
emotion labor has on health and motivation factor. Therefore, when looking at the result of this study, education
workers can improve work satisfaction level through performing continuous education and training through self
control of emotion and minimizing the burnout.
