본 연구의 목적은 초등 고학년생의 지각된 충동성, 공격성 및 대인관계능력 간의 관계에서 정서조 절의 매개효과를 조사하는 것이다. 경북에 소재한 2개의 초등학교 5, 6학년 389명을 대상으로 지각 된 충동성, 공격성 및 대인관계능력 척도를 실시하여, 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 먼저 각 척도의 전체 및 하위요인별 신뢰도 Cronbach α 계수와 Pearson 상관계수를 산출하였고, 연구 모형의 모형적 합도 분석을 위해 구조방정식 모형 분석을 하여 변인들 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하였다. 자료 분석 의 결과 첫째, 각 척도의 전체 신뢰도는 .77에서 .94의 범위를 보였고, 척도의 하위요인들 간의 상관 관계는 유의수준 .01에서 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 구조방정식 모형 분석의 결과 모형적 합도 지수 χ2/df, CFI, TLI, RMSEA가 수용범위를 충족시켜 연구모형이 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 셋 째, 충동성이 공격성과 대인관계능력에 미치는 영향에서 정서조절이 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나 타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 충동적인 초등학생들의 공격성 감소와 대인관계 증진을 위한 정서조절프 로그램의 개발과 적용을 위한 연구의 기초 자료가 될 것이다.
The purpose of this study was to verify the structural relations among the perceived impulsivity, aggression, interpersonal relationship and emotion regulation of elementary school students. A total of 389 5th and 6th grades students recruited from two elementary schools in metropolitan city in Korea participated in this study. For the reliabilities of each measure, Pearson correlation coefficients were computed, and ‘model fit test’ utilizing the structural equation model(SEM)was conducted in this study. The results showed that the final SEM model fit indices of (df), CFI, TLI, RMSEA were met the acceptable criteria of model fitness, and appeared to be a suitable model structure. Also, the emotion regulation showed a mediating effects on students’ aggression and interpersonal relationship. Understanding the structural relations among the perceived impulsivity, aggression, interpersonal relationship and emotion regulation may serve as an important information for the development of the intervention programs and prevention strategies for elementary school students.
