본 논문은 기존 연구되었던 문헌을 통해 이학계열 전공자의 학교-노동시장 이행에 있어 이행현황, 이행준비, 이행과정, 이행결과에 대하여 살펴보고 단계별 문제를 탐색하고자 한다. 또한, 문제점의 탐 색을 통해 후속연구에 대한 아이디어를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이학계열 인력의 학교-노동시 장 이행에 대한 탐색 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학교-노동시장 이행에 있어 전공과 유관한 계열에 취 업하는 비율이 낮음을 알 수 있다. 이학계열 전공단위에서 타계열로의 취업이 활성화되어 있고, 직무 자체의 일치도도 낮은 편이었다. 둘째, 노동시장 이행 전 학교단계에서 취창업과 관련한 적절한 교육 이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 원활한 노동시장 이행을 위한 준비교육 마련이 필요하다는 점을 제언하 였다. 셋째, 이학계열 인력이 진출할 수 있는 다양한 일자리에 대한 정보가 부족하여 진로설정에 어 려움을 겪고 있었다. 파악된 문제점을 바탕으로 이학 전공자의 노동시장 이행을 원활히 촉진할 수 있 는 심도 있는 연구와 사업이 필요하다는 점을 제언하였다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate problems about school to work transition of science graduates that is divided into current state, preparation, process and result. Also, this study investigates problems of each step of transition and suggests research subjects for follow-up study. We can find characteristics of school to work transition of science graduates. First, science graduates have difficulty in getting major related job. They moved to the job that may not match their majors. Second, in school stage, training programs about school to work transition are not enough. Before getting into the labor market, they are needed to learn some contents regarding the employment and start-ups. Third, lack of information about various career for science graduate is discussed. Due to the proper information, they have some difficulties in determining their careers and jobs. Based on the identified problems, in-depth study should be conducted in the future.
