This study attempted to explore how the studies related to education of adults with learning disabilities
were conducted and tried to identify the direction to support the education of adults with learning
disabilities in South Korea. For the purpose of this study, this study reviewed domestic and foreign
literature related to the education of adults with learning disabilities. The results of review on domestic and
foreign literature were as follows. First, I could not find any study related to the education on adults with
learning disabilities among domestic literature. Second, the result of the review on foreign literature about
the education of adults with learning disabilities showed that there were a few studies related to adults
with learning disabilities and that these studies dealt with educational application, issues, and others. This
study suggests that the fundamental studies such as educational justification on adults with learning
disabilities need to be addressed as well as the educational applications on adults with learning disabilities
in the studies related to the education for adults with learning disabilities. In addition, this study showed
that the studies on adults with learning disabilities need to discuss the studies on various topics as well as the studies on education.
