부사관은 우리군 전투의 중추를 맡고 있는 중요한 군 조직체계이다. 물론 부사관의 업무가 물자 보급 및 병력 관리 등 가정으로 말하면 어머니의 역활을 수행하는 부분도 무시 할수없다. 부사관의 업무수행을 위해 올바른 인성과 체력도 중요 하지만 기본적인 수학능력도 요구된다. 군은 이런 요구 에 따라 1차 필기 평가에서 지원자들의 기초학력을 평가하기위한 여러 유형의 시험을 실시하고 있으 나 평가 도구를 통한 학생들의 기초학력 평가가 가능한지 ,이 시험이 부사관 업무 수행과 관련이 있 는지에 대한 문제 와 2차 면접 및 체력시험 간 출제되는 문제의 수준 과 부사관업무를 수행해 보지 못한 학생들이 주어진 문제에 대한 정확한 상황판단을 할 수 있을까에 대한 의문이 생긴다 . 현장에 서 병사들과 지휘관 사이에서 중요한 역할을 수행해야 하는 부사관들의 선발은 정말 중요하다. 이에 본 연구는 부사관 선발 간 나타나는 문제점들을 보완 하여 부사관으로서 현장에서 본인의 능력을 발 휘할수 있는 우수자원 선발에 도움이 되고자 한다.
