The present study was aimed at drawing the issues related to special education cur-riculum, finding its problems, and suggesting some alternatives to solve them. To accomplish theses purposes, the sources of law of the Special School Curriculum and its related regulations, including the Special Education Promotion Law and the Special Education Law of Individuals with Disabilities and the like that was promul-gated in recent, were examined. Also, the revisions of the Special School Curriculum to its 2007 amendment (tentative plan) was studied. Then, the philosophy and main features of the current special school curriculum were reviewed in terms of curricu-lum general theories. Finally, the study raised the theoretical and legal issues inherent in special education curriculum and presented the suggestions for the study in work-ing to modify and supplement the 2007 tentative.
