현 교과용도서에는 장애 및 장애인과 관련하여 적합하지 않은 소재, 용어, 삽화 등이 다수 수록되어 있고 이를 활용하여 교수-학습 활동을 하는 일반교사나 이란학생에게 교과용도서가 오히려 장애인에 대하여 잘못된 인식을 심어줄 우려가 있다. 다라서 본 연구에서는 교과용도서 개발에 직접 참여하고 있는 교육과정 연구자, 행정가 및 특수교육교사, 장애학생 학부모 등 관련 전문가를 대상으로 조사 연구를 실시하여, 현재의 교과용도서의 장애 관련 내용 개발 및 수록 절차에 대한 문제점을 분석하고, 향후 교과용도서의 장애 관련 개발과 편수절차에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.
The primary purpose of this present study was to investigate the development process of the disability-related content of the textbooks. To achieve this purpose, this study analyzed the disability-related content included in current textbooks, which were developed in accordance with the 7th education curriculum and conducted a needs assessment on the development procedures of the disability-related content of the textbooks of the future.
