본 연구는 초등학교 과정 정신지체학생들이 선호하는 노래에 대한 악곡적 특징을 알아보는 것이다. 학부모와 음악 담당교사를 대상으로 하여 선호곡을 조사하여 악곡을 분석하고 해석하였다. 박자에서는 4/4 박자의 곡이 가장 많았으며 조성은 장조의 곡과 CM와 FM의 곡이 가장 많았다. 길이 및 형식에서는 한도막 형식이 가장 많았으며 음역은 c'-c"의 음역대가 가장 많았고 최대 음역대는 a-d"이었다. 최대음정은 4도가 가장 많았다. 노랫말의 소재는 동물과 신체가 가장 많았다. 선호 노랫말의 특징은 가사 반복, 신체 표현 그리고 의태어가 가장 많았다. 선호 리듬의 특징은 리듬의 반복, 당김음이 사용된 리듬, 음표-쉼표-음표-쉼표와 붙점 리듬 등이었다. 선호 가락은 도약형을 선호하였으며 선호 가락은 선호 가사와 선호 리듬과 삼위일체를 이루고 있었다.
The purpose of this study was to find out the preferred songs within the music textbook 1 of mental retarded students in elementary school course and to analyze musical characteristics of the songs students preferred. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The time of the preferred songs were 4/4 mostly. 2. The tonality of the preferred songs were C major and F major mostly. 3. The forms of the preferred songs were one part form and binary form mostly. 4. The most frequencies of vocal range of the preferred songs was c'- c". 5. The most frequencies of maximum leap interval of the preferred songs was 4. 6. The most frequencies of materials of song lyrics of the preferred songs were animal and body. 7. The characteristics of the preferred words within song were repetitive words, expression of body, mimetic words. 8. The characteristics of the preferred rhythms were repetitive type, type of note-rest-note-rest and the rhythms such as ..... aroused exciting, pleasure and/or tensions according to words of songs. 9. The characteristics of the preferred melodies within loved song were closely connected with song lyrics and rhythms of the songs. The preferred melodies, rhythms and words within loved song formed a trinity.
