The Korean society has given attention to the leisure and quality of life with the introduction of the 40-hour workweek system since January 2004. Leisure and quality of life became important social issue as well as work. With these changes of times, this paper introduced the concept of ‘Work-Life Balance’ and discussed the constituent element(work, family, self, and leisure) of Work-Life Balance. And the antecedents of Work-Life Balance were discussed. Work-Life Balance is depended on working system, cultural aspects, policy and programs which support Work-Life Balanc, and personal skill and belief for Work-Life Balance. The positive influences of Work-Life Balance were discussed both employee and company. Finally, the suggestions for further studies were discussed.
