The purpose of this study was to actually analyze teacher\'s discipline style and discipline effectiveness. To accomplish this purpose, subjects of this study were selected as follow. First, how teacher\'s discipline style are actually identified, second, how the components of discipline effectiveness are actually identified, third, what is the relation between teacher\'s discipline style and discipline effectiveness.
As sampling, sixth grades 2,500 students of 73 classrooms of 13 elementary schools were sampled. As a tool of investigation, questionnaires about teacher\'s discipline style and discipline effectiveness had made by researcher of this study were used. And as processing of data, factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe-test were used. The result of this study is as follow.
First, teacher\'s discipline style was actually identified as six, in other words, democratic, compromiser, supporter, autocracy, mixer, and noninterventionist.
Second, the components of discipline effectiveness were actually identified as seven, in other words, student\'s self-concept, self-control, human relationship, proactive behavior, learning attitude, classroom climates, and desist of misbehavior.
Third, in the relation between teacher\'s discipline style and discipline effectiveness, teacher\'s discipline style of democratic and compromiser was effective than other discipline style. Teacher\'s discipline style of noninterventionist was ineffective in all components of discipline effectiveness. And teacher\'s discipline style of autocracy was not always ineffective, and better effective than noninterventionist
