본 연구는 지금까지 드문 연구대상이었던 농어촌지역의 학생들의 진로자기효능감과 직업가치관의 특성을 파악하고자 하였으며, 진로자기효능감의 수준에 따라 직업가치관에 차이를 보이는지를 분석하였다. 우리나라 하동군과 남해군의 남녀 1, 3학년 고등학생 640명을 표집하여 성별과 학년별 진로자기효능감과 직업가치관 및 양자의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과 대체로 농어촌지역 학생들의 진로자기효능감은 그다지 높지 않았지만, 여학생이 남학생에 비해 진로자기효능감이 높고 직업가치관도 뚜렷한 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 학년이 높아짐에 따라 진로목표설정 의식은 높아지는 성향을 보이였지만 이에 따른 계획수립, 직업정보, 자기평가 문제해결 영역 등의 요인은 학년에 따라 높아지는 차이를 보이지 않았다. 또한 진로자기효능감이 높을수록 직업가치관이 분명하게 수립되는 경향을 보이고 있어 농어촌 학생들의 진로지도의 출발점을 진로자기효능감의 함양에 두어야 할 것이 강조되었다.
This study intends to understand high school students in rural areas with the analysis of the carer self-efficacy and work-values of them who have rarely been the subject of study so far. For the study, six-hundred forty male and female high-shool students with 10th and 12th grad are selected and statistical techniques such as t-test is applied. It attempts to figure out whether there are statistically significant difference between males and females, and between 10th and 12th grade in their career self-efficacy and work-values, and between degrees of career self-efficacy in the work-values. As a results, it appears that female students are higher in the career self efficacy and work-values than male students, and that the degree of career self-efficacy of students is influential on the establishment of work-values of them.
