이제까지 진로지도 및 진로상담분야에서 중요하게 다루어진 주제들은 대부분이 개인의 인지나 태도에 관련되는 사항이었고 반면에 합리적이고 올바른 진로결정을 위해서 수행해야 하는 행동이나 혹은 진로결정이 이루어진 이후에 그 결정사항을 실행하기 위한 행동 등을 포함하는 진로준비행동(career preparation behavior)에 대해서는 거의 관심을 집중시키지 못하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 진로준비기에 있는 고등학교 학생을 위한 진로준비행동 검사를 개발하고 이 검사를 타당화하였다. 진로준비행동 문항을 구성하기 위하여 대학생과 고등학생을 대상으로 직업이나 진로에 관하여 하였던 행동이나 현재 하고 있는 행동 그리고 할 계획으로 있는 행동을 자유 응답하도록 하였는데 255명의 고등학생과 42명의 대학생을 합하여 총 297명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 이 과정에서 총 54문항을 도출하였고 이 중 43문항을 추출하여 진로준비행동을 요약 정리하고 전문가 평정을 거쳐 39문항으로 구성된 검사지를 제작하였다. 또, 진로준비행동 본검사 제작을 위해 모두 403명의 남?녀 고등학생을 다양하게 표집하였다. 진로준비행동 목록에서 해석 가능한 요인을 밝혀내고 이들 요인들의 타당성을 확인하기 위하여 탐색적 요인분석을 수행하였는데, 요인을 추출하기 위해서 주축 요인법을 사용하였고 요인 스크리 검사를 참조하여 잠정적인 요인으로 4개를 추출하였고 요인을 산출한 결과 9개의 요인으로 분석되었다. 최적의 요인을 찾고 유의미하게 해석 가능한 요인패턴을 찾기 위해 회전을 실시하였는데, 배리맥스 회전법을 사용하여 요인 부하량이 0.3이상인 문항을 추출하여 4개의 요인과 22문항을 최종적으로 선택하였다. 요인분석을 통하여 추출된 4개의 요인은 ‘정보수집활동(10문항)’, ‘직업 학과 결정활동(5문항)’, ‘직업체험활동(5문항)’, ‘취업준비활동(2문항)’으로 명명하였다. 고등학교 진로상담에 있어서 학생들의 진로문제에 대한 인식을 새롭게 하기 위해서 본 연구에서 개발된 진로준비행동검사를 실시해볼 필요성이 있으며 이 과정에서 자신의 진로에 대하여 탐색해 보고 정보를 수집하며 직업체험을 해보며 직업에 대한 준비를 하는 진로준비행동이 체계적이고 계획적으로 실시되어야 하겠다.
In the carer guidance and the career counseling, there was focused on the cognition and the attitude, not focused on the career preparation behavior. So the purpose of this study is to develop and to validate the instrument for assessing the career preparation behavior of the Korean highschool students. The subjects of this study consisted of 255 highschool students and 42 college students. They listed the career preparation behavior which they have done, which they doing and will be done about the occupation and the career. In this process 54 items were driven. And career preparation scale which was composed of 39 items was made. In the second steps, total 403 highschool students have been participated. The exploratory factor analysis was executed. Career preparation behavior scale was composed of the 4 variables and 22 items. ① Collecting job information behavior(10 items), ② Occupation?major decision behavior(5 items), ③ Job experience behavior(5 items), ④ Employment preparation behavior(2 items), and it's item inter consistency, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.89. The career preparation behavior scale which is composed of exploring career paths, collecting job information, doing job experiences, doing employment preparation is to executed systematically for helping the highschool students.
