The appearance of handicapped child in a family bring about psychological anxiety of parents and psychosocial problems to the family, and withdraw them from social activity. The present of handicapped child give rise to stress of parents of the child, and stress of parent induced from handicapped child influences to quality of parent\'s life. On the one hand, the research for quality of life be focused in mainly psychological well-being, and focused on parenting behavior of parents. The purpose of this research is to investigate the relation of mother\'s general perception of disability and her child\'s disability, parenting stress, and psychological well-being. The instruments used in this research were Adjective Scales to evaluate perception to handicap, Disability Recognition scale, Index of Well-being, Satisfaction with Life Scale, and Parenting Stress Index. Analysis methods applied in this research were correlation analysis and regression analysis to identify relations among a score of Adjective Scales, Disability Recognition scale, Index of Well-being, Satisfaction with Life Scale, and Parenting Stress Index. The results of this research were as followed: (1) Mother\'s general perception of disability and her child\'s disability was significantly correlated with mother\'s parenting stress and her psychological well-being. (2) Mother\'s general perception of disability and her child\'s disability was influenced to mother\'s parenting stress and her psychological well-being. These result suggest that approach to reduce parenting stress and improve a mother\'s psychological well-being must be considered the mother\'s general perception to the disability and her child\'s disability. For improvement of perception of mother with handicapped child, it require a psychosocial supports to the family with handicapped children and improvement of perception to handicapped children in community.
