본 프로그램의 개발은 시각장애 아동들이 웹기반 상황에서 PC나 한소네를 활용해서 사칙연산 능력을 신장시키고, 앞으로 시각장애 아동을 위한 다양한 웹기반 학습 프로그램의 모형을 제시하기 위하여 개발하였다. 이를 위해 현재 시각장애 아동의 연산능력 실태와 프로그램 실태를 파악하여 개발에 필요한 사항을 살펴보았고, 초등부 수학과 교육과정을 분석하여 프로그램에 들어갈 학습 내용을 선정하였다. 이러한 내용을 바탕으로 웹기반 사칙연산 프로그램을 개발하였으며, 그 사용 방법을 설명하였다.
The development of this program aims to allow vision-impaired children to use PCs or Hansone and improve their ability in four rules of arithmetic calculation in the Web-based environment, and present a model for future diverse Web-based programs for vision-impaired children. To that end, the current status of vision-impaired children\'s calculation ability and the status of programs were determined and what should be needed for development of the program were determined. Mathematics curricula in the elementary school were analyzed and contents to be reflected in the program were selected. Based on these results, the Web-based four rules of arithmetic calculation program was developed, and how to use it was explained.
