The purpose of this study is to suggest a desirable teaching method for nature-friendly education
by observing how the discussion using ecological pictures affect children\'s environment-friendly attitude.
We selected 2 5-year-old classes, each from 2 kindergartens located in A city, and executed the
discussion utilizing ecological pictures for 15 weeks. Subsequently, we analyzed the influence on
children\'s environment-friendly attitude.
In conclusion, the experimental groups that experienced the discussion utilizing ecological pictures
has achieved significant improvement of their environment-friendly attitude in comparison to other
groups. Both sides of nature-friendly attitude and environment-friendly attitude which are subclassification
of environment-friendly attitude indicated positive change.
Based on these results, it is concluded that the discussion utilizing ecological pictures is effective
and thus can be meaningful approach to nature-friendly education.
