Effective schooling means that education is performed on the basis of the education in itself and is enough to accomplish proposed goals. Besides, effective schooling focuses on the satisfaction of the students and their parents with school education, and on the enjoyment of the teachers in their teaching and of good relationship with their students. For those purposes, it is required that the construction of curriculum, management of the learning, evaluation, school environments and extracurricular activities should be in good shape. This study have a focus on the curriculum change for the effective schooling. The directions of curriculum change in this study are curriculum for the new generation, curriculum for the social needs, and curriculum for the efficient management. Within the curriculum for the new generation, consideration of the individual differences, expansion of the choice, and process-based education are needed. Within the curriculum for the social needs, presentation of the practical knowledge accompanying integrative experiences, consciousness raising of the democratic community, and sound consumption and the value of diligence are needed. Within the curriculum for the efficient management, the principle of minimum requirements, expansion of the autonomous management, and the curriculum structure for the convenient change are needed.
