The purpose of this research is to replace the meaning of validity in qualitative research paradigm. As the philosophy and epistemology of qualitative researchers are widely different from those of quantitative researchers, the meaning of validity must be replaced in its own structure and dimension. At one side of continuity are efforts to approach and discuss the concept of validity from the viewpoint which is not much distanciated from the existing traditional concept. Also, there is a standpoint which adopts new terms, but does not move in meaning systems. Generally, it seems that there are not much changes in the concept of validity, even though the research paradigm has shifted critically. Essentially qualitative researchers seek to understand and interpret the world of others from their own viewpoints which basically tend to be subjective. And qualit ative researchers\' understanding and interpretations are met with readers\' subjecti vity and after all a new world is created. In this sense, the concept of validity is reconstructed between researcher and reader.
