The purpose of this study was to develop the Job-Seeking Anxiety Test for university students and examine its validity and reliability. Three subcomponents of job-seeking anxiety were identified based on the results of literature review, which are situation of arousing job-seeking anxiety, factor of arousing job-seeking anxiety, and psychological and physical condition from job-seeking anxiety. 33 items that represented the three subcomponents were developed based on the result of literature review and analysing open-ended questionnaire. Factor analysis confirmed the three factors with 28 items that are 10 items for psychological and physical condition from job-seeking anxiety, 11 items for situation of arousing job-seeking anxiety, and 7 items for factor of arousing job-seeking anxiety. To examine the construct validity of the test, correlation coefficient among three subcomponents was computed and they were highly correlated each other. The test also had high internal consistency reliability. Therefore, the Job-Seeking Anxiety Test has high validity and reliability so that it can be used to measure job-seeking anxiety for university students.
