The moderns are losing their humanity regarding spiritual circumstances and pursuing entertainment to express the spiritual circumstances. Accordingly, the mass media is taming them. The moderns who are going through this situation have shaking psychological status and lack in affection, by being surrounded the development of technology and the diversification of cultural and social construction. People should be understood in the perspective of the whole person under any situation. People are the only creature that makes humane relationship with God. The concept of the whole person means that a physical thing and a spiritual thing keep balance and harmony and support normal interrelation. The health of people is not only restricted to the body and spirit. It underlines the direct connection of the society that people are living in. Considering the definition of the health, nowadays, almost all people seem not to be healthy. It is because that the moderns are living without a sense of direction and being surrounded by the wave of rapid change. The ultimate goal that a pastor should seek after is to restore the whole personality. People are not a plain organism that complex factors just lump together. Recently, science of man, which has gradually advanced, highlights the unity of original nature of human being. That is to say, the purpose is to far reachingly understand people with the physical and spiritual perspective, since a problem in a category have an influence on other problems in other categories. Perfect health that is supported by physical and spiritual balance and harmony can be accomplished only through the Holy Spirit of God. People\'s spiritual health depends on their faith. God\'s intention to heal people is clearly presented in the Bible. Since God created people based on his appearance as it was, people are able to be perfect by having upright relation with God. God\'s promise for care and healing is still with people. The bible described that all treatments for diseases were the gifts from God. In the Old Testament, it is pointed that all disease were from God as well as God sent all blessings. However, at the same time, God is a healer who lets people recover from diseases. He forgives people\'s sin and cures their diseases. This is God\'s whole person approach and God\'s whole person treatment to heal people. Jesus interpreted treatment as a symbol of arrival of God\'s realm. His pastoral could be summarized into three things such as preaching, education and treatment. He could see the unity of human nature and led the whole person pastoral containing spirit and the body. His pastoral had a final goal which was to release people from suffering. Also, his treatment pastoral was intended to expand God\'s realm. That was a voucher that described the absolute power of God who came to people from everywhere. He didn\'t go through the process of diagnosis. Instead, he committed diverse events of treatment according to patients\' symptoms. Under these circumstances, the paper was conducted to find the direction of modern pastoral through Jesus\' whole person treatment. Therefore, simple definition, understanding for pastoral counsel and types of Jesus\' whole treatment in the Gospels were studied.
