This study is for educational support of the students with glaucoma and has the purpose of providing information about the illness to teachers, students themselves, and their family and peers as well as preparing suitable and effective support, theoretical basis, and foundation for the educational sites. The summary of this study is as following.
First, they need psychological relaxation through teachers\' periodical observation and counselling support because there are various and different visual environments and student\'s psychological anxiety. Second, the glaucoma causes decreased range of eye sight, walleye, and dazzling phenomenon so there needs support for the students in reading and writing based on their visual environment. For the recommendable reading materials, there are the things with suitable sized letters, reorganized letters, markers, typo-scope, and high contrasting effect. For the useful writing materials, there are paper with line and writing guides. And also there need control of illuminating level and adjusting quantity of homework as well as additional rhetoric embellishment skill to prepare for the prognosis of glaucoma. Third, they need physical activity and daily life support. When they exercise, they have to consider intraocular pressure by the physical position and radical movement. And also they need walking skill using index and clues resulting from decreased eye sight and dazzling phenomenon. During the daytime, they need sunglass, the shaded cap, and an aids to broaden the eye sight and for night, a white stick and a flashlight are useful. And also they need both optical and non-optical instrument application in the daily life environment like posthumous title, injection exercise, various labels, written notice, and clothes collection as well as notice about foods and medicine.
