최근 우리 사회의 다양하고 복잡한 가족 문제와 함께, 가족이 해체되어 보호시설에 입소되는 청소년의 수가 해마다 증가하고 있어, 시설보호청소년들이 가족 해체에 따른 낮은 자존감 형성과 부모역할 부재에서 오는 부정적 부모상을 극복하고 부모역할을 정립할 수 있는 예비부모교육 프로그램의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 연구자는 시설보호청소년들에게 있어 우선 자아존중감 향상과 부모역할에 대한 명료한 개념화가 필요함을 인식하고, 시설보호청소년들의 요구와 선행연구를 근거로 예비부모교육 프로그램을 3단계 9회기로 개발하는 데 목적을 두었다. 1단계(나의 이해단계)는 라포를 형성하고, 청소년기의 발달 과업 및 생명 사랑에 대한 통합적인 활동을 통해 자아개념 및 자신감을 높일 수 있도록 하였다. 2단계(가족 이해단계)는 건강한 이성교제와 배우자관, 성의식 함양 프로그램을 실시하였고, 의사소통 기술과 가상가족을 형성하여 기능적인 부모역할을 체험하고 가족요리체험을 통해 자신감, 행복감을 느껴보도록 하였다. 3단계(부모역할 이해단계)는 다양한 가정 탐색과 가족화를 통해 부모역할을 이해하고, 가족영화 감상활동으로 미래 부모역할을 설정해 보도록 구안하였다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구자는 다음과 같이 몇 가지 제언을 하고자 한다. 첫째, 시설보호청소년의 예비부모교육 프로그램 실천을 위해 정부와 민간이 파트너가 되어서 민간기업의 참여를 유도하는 정책적, 재정적 지원활동을 제안한다. 둘째, 각 시설의 특성과 구성원들의 교육 요구를 고려한 맞춤형의 프로그램 기획이 필요하며, 연령별ㆍ단계별로 실시되어야 한다. 앞으로 시설의 특수성을 고려한 많은 후속연구가 나와서 시설보호청소년의 복지에 기여할 수 있게 되기를 기대한다.
Recently there are complicated problems related in the family in our society. And the number of adolescents in the residential care are increased by family-dissolution every year. In this situation, pre-parent education program is needed for adolescents in the residential care to overcome their negative family and low self-esteem. The researcher realized adolescents in the residential care need to clarify the definition of parent’s role and develop their self-esteem for doing ideal parent’s role in the future. This study organized pre-parent education program, based on internal and external antecedent studies that indicated the previous necessity. This program organized total 9 sessions of 3 stages-that is self understanding, family understanding, and parent’s role understanding. It was designed for helping them to make rapport and increase self-identification or self-confidence by integrated activity of adolescence developmental task and love for life in the 1 stage. And the researcher carried out the program to foster sound intersexual friendship, mate-view and gender-consciousness such as forming an imaginary family, and doing functional parent’s role by cooking in the 2 stage. In the 3 stage, it helps them understand parent’s role by searching various families, enhance communication skills and establish the future parent’s role by appreciating films of family. In policy, the pre-parent education program in the facilities, government and nongovernment are needed to go into partnership and derive the participation of private enterprises. Practically we need the unique and indigenized program that is taken into consideration the realities and special characteristics of the facilities.
